EFFECTS OF BAKE OUT AS A SOURCE CONTROL TECHNIQUE FOR INDOOR CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES (PART 3) : A study on indoor air pollutions by VOC and Formaldehyde (Part 4)

Abstract

匸 重 tumed out that bake − out is a usefu 艮 mitigation method for indoor formalde 』yde pollution from our experimen 重al research8) ． Tho experimental research was carried ou 重 wi 重h used by experimen 重al and environmen 重 al chamber where the temperature ， humidity， air exchanges as wcll as air ve 藍 ocity were contmlled ． The emissien rates of formaldehyde on each building matcrial were 6． 54 − 55 ． 6 ％ afte 【 bake −ou 重 at a temperature of 38 ℃ for a 72 − hour period and under an air exchango rate of O ． 5 ACH ． Here ， the experimental s 重udy was conducted on VOC with 重 he same experimental inethod ． From our results ， it turned out that the emission rates of TVOC were decreased by 7 ． 4 層 40 ％ after bake − out undor 重 he same conditit ' ions． And ， if we wish to de 電 erm 量 ne the effectiveness of bake −ou 重 on the VOC ， further experirnents used wi 重h environmental chambers should be needed ． Keywords ： Bake ・ out ， VOC ， Indoor air quality， Environmental chamber
