Along with the increasing development of society and economy, it is becoming more and more important to keep the balance for environment and development. In this context, air pollution control has become a key factor affecting economic and social development. Taking Wuhan’s air pollution situation as a sample and using the entropy method, this paper constructs an evaluation model of air pollution emission level, and evaluates the air pollution emission level of Wuhan. We can find that the total emissions of air pollution for Wuhan shows a gradual upward trend over time, which not only brings about economic growth, but also brings about the increasing emission of air pollution. And the air pollution in Wuhan mainly comes from industrial pollution. Meanwhile, among the weights of air pollution emission indicators, sulfur dioxide emission indicators and industrial sulfur dioxide emission indicators account for a large weight. It can be seen that although the overall pollutant emission level of Wuhan shows a downward trend, while paying attention to economic growth, we need to pay more attention to emission reduction and fossil energy consumption. Therefore, the government can reduce air pollution by focusing on detecting major polluting industries, promoting industrial technological progress and innovation, and strengthening the effective implementation of emission trading system.

At present, under the influence of environmental pollution, the color of architectural painting gradually darkens, loses luster, and even cracks and falls off the pigment layer, which seriously affects the long-term preservation of architecture painting. In order to study the damage mechanism of dust particles to the color of the architectural painting, this study took archery tower at the West Gate as the research object, monitored the temperature and humidity of the indoor environment, and analyzed the composition of the dust by ICP-MS, IC, XRD. The experimental results show that the indoor humidity changes significantly in inner archery Tower at the West Gate during the monitoring period from January to March, which is not conducive to the preservation of wood color paintings. A 24-h average PM2.5 and PM10 concentration seriously is beyond the National Ambient Air Quality Standard norms, and PM contains a large amount of soluble salts such as sulfate and nitrate, causing serious salt erosion and damage to the color painting layer. Through the simulation experiment of color painting, it is revealed that the dust particles deposited on the surface of color painting change the spectral characteristics of the pigment layer, and then cause the color of color painting to be losing its original hue, fading, becoming blurred or darkening. It was anticipated that this research would serve as a valuable reference for the preventive protection of the color painting of archery tower at West Gate.

Smog is a serious environmental problem. It is an atmospheric pollutant that, if inhaled frequently, can lead to lung diseases such as asthma and bronchitis. One of the most dangerous air pollutants is particulate matter with a diameter of fewer than 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5), which may be breathed into the body and cause major health issues by introducing dangerous compounds deep into the lungs and bloodstream. In this research, a new convolutional neural network is proposed, by upgrading and parallelly stacking the two pre-trained models ResNet18 and ResNet50 to form a new modified-combined convolutional model (C-DCNN). Besides, we stacked another two columns of layers to extract the low features of ResNet18 and ResNet50 separately, to create finally four stacked columns of layers. The new model classifies images into different classes based on their PM2.5 concentration levels. To assess the suggested approach, an image augmentation is applied, then divided the images randomly (80% for the training progress,20% of the used training data for validation, and 20% for testing). The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method increased the accuracy of level estimation with an accuracy increment equal to (6.25% at LR=0.
