Teripang merupakan komuditi laut yang bernilai ekonomis laut namun populasinya semakin berkurang di alam. Tahun 2009, desa Warbal membangun tempat agama dari hasil penerapan kearifan lokal sistem SASI teripang selama 5 tahun. Tahun 2017, desa Warbal menerapkan kearifan lokal sistem SASI teripang selama 2 tahun namun hasilnya tidak sebanyak tahun 2009. Masyarkat berkerinduan menerapkan kearifan lokal sistem SASI teripang dengan waktu 2 – 3 tahun namun berharap hasilnya melimpah. Keterbatasan pengetahuan mengenai Sea Ranching teripang merupakan permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat desa Warbal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengimplementasi Sea Ranching berbasis kearifan lokal sistem SASI untuk membantu masyarakat desa Warbal menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu Sosalisasi, penetapan aturan kearifan lokal sistem SASI, pelatihan dan pembutan wadah budidaya, penerapan kearifan lokal sistem SASI dan penebaran benih serta monitoring evaluasi. Dari hasil kegiatan diketahui bahwa masyarakat desa Warbal telah menginplementasi Sea Ranching berbasis kearifan lokal sistem SASI dan menyakini bahwa melalui Sea Ranching dapat mempercepat waktu pelaksanaan kearifan lokal sistem SASI dan hasil panen teripang yang melimpah. Selain itu, pengetahuan mengenai pembuatan wadah pembesaran dan biologi reproduksi teripang telah diketahui masyarakat desa Warbal dengan baik. Sea cucumbers are a marine commodity that has marine economic value but their population is decreasing in nature. In 2009, Warbal village built a religious place from the results of implementing local wisdom SASI system of the sea cucumber during five years. In 2017, Warbal village implemented the local wisdom SASI system of the sea cucumbers during two years but the results were not as good as in 2009. The community hopes to implement local wisdom SASI system of the sea cucumbers within two to three years but hopes that the results will be abundant. Limited knowledge about Sea Ranching of sea cucumbers is a problem faced by the Warbal village community. This activity aims to implement Sea Ranching based on the local wisdom of the SASI system to help the Warbal village community solve the problems they face. The methods used in this activity are socialization, establishing local wisdom SASI system rules, training and making Pen-culture, implementing local wisdom SASI system, spreading seeds, as well as monitoring evaluation. From the results of the activity, it is known that the Warbal village community has implemented Sea Ranching based on the local wisdom SASI system and believes that Sea Ranching can speed up the closing time for local wisdom SASI system and produce abundant sea cucumber harvests. Besides that, knowledge about making Pen-culture and the reproductive biology of sea cucumbers is well known to the people of Warbal village.

One of the milkfish cultivation techniques (Chanos chanos) to increase pond productivity is a modular system. Modular system is a pond cultivation technique with a tiered plot model, where connecting between ponds is made, the purpose of which is to make milkfish easily move between ponds. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of modular system innovation techniques (tiered plots) in increasing the production of bait milkfish in traditional ponds in Usto Village, Mare District, Bone. The research was conducted from August to the end of November 2023, at the location of the 2023 Matching Fund - Kedaireka program in a traditional pond in Usto Village, Mare District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a type of experimental research. Primary data measurements include; water quality measurement, including; temperature, salinity, pH and dissolved oxygen. While the parameters of the organization include the length of the fish from stocking to harvest. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis, in order to obtain an overview of the success of modular system techniques in traditional ponds. The results of the study obtained that the modular system technique can increase fish growth quickly, with the process of transferring fish periodically between ponds, making fish experience different conditions and physiological conditions that feel new. The modular system provides an average fish growth rate of 4.5 cm within 3 months or an average of 0.15 cm per day, with the highest rate occurring in rearing pond I, which is during the initial phase of post-stunting maintenance, which is an average growth rate of 6.2 cm per month, or 0.21 per day. Thus, this modular system technique can be used to increase the productivity of traditional ponds.

Sea cucumber Holothuria scabra was reared on a small scale with the addition of seaweed Gracilaria sp. as a phytoremediation agent. This research aimed to determine the effect of Gracilaria sp. on water quality, physiological response, and growth performance of H. scabra. Ten individuals of H. scabra with an initial length of 5 ± 0.09 cm and an initial weight of 7.6 ± 0.2 g were reared in a culture tank (20 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm) with 15 cm of water depth. Gracilaria sp. was floated on the culture tank at three weight levels with three replicates, i.e., low (15 g); medium (30 g); and high seaweed density (45 g), with the control (0 g), during the 30-day rearing period. Results showed no significant difference in water temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), salinity, and total ammonia nitrogen (TAN) between all treatments except for pH. There were no significant differences in ammonia and nitrite concentrations and significant differences in nitrate concentration and total organic matter (TOM) between all treatments and the control. On day 30, the application of Gracilaria sp. exhibited a lower nitrate concentration than the control. Gracilaria sp. maintained the water quality in the culture tank within a tolerable range for H. scabra. On the physiological response of H. scabra, high seaweed density exhibited the lowest blood cholesterol and glucose levels on day 30 and the highest specific growth rate (SGR) in weight (0.59 ± 0.2%) and length (1.16 ± 0.09%). The survival rate of H. scabra in all treatments reached 100%, suggesting the indoor cultivation system in this experiment did not negatively affect the growth of H. scabra.
