Abstract: We investigated the therapeutic effect of a postoperative hospital-based systemic rehabilitation protocol on ankle function in chronic ankle instability (CAI) patients. Thirty-five patients who underwent a modified Broström procedure for CAI were recruited in this prospective randomized controlled trial.
