“…Leczenie objawowe zmian przeciążeniowych, w przypadku nadmiernego docisku przodostopia -a dokładniej głów kości śródstopia -do podłoża, wymaga odciążenia tych okolic stopy [44,45]. U pacjenta z płaskostopiem poprzecznym lub z deformacjami kostno--stawowymi (paluch koślawy, palce młotkowate, młoteczkowate) można zastosować leczenie zachowawcze w postaci indywidualnych wkładek ortopedycznych (ryc.…”

“…Furthermore, there is a long-standing debate on the relative merits of different types of FO and this trial is a response to this debate. 15 We hypothesised that patients with RA and custom FO made either by direct adaptation technique or through a digital design and production process, will improve their activity level in comparison with patients with RA and prefabricated orthoses. Our null hypothesis is that we will not find any significant difference between results from each custom orthoses and prefabricated orthoses, related to improve their physical activity increasing the period time when the patient is standing or walking.…”

“…In the past decade, researchers have been able to develop many types of rehabilitation equipment that have been enhanced with robotic technology. One such piece of equipment is the Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO), which is usually used to hold in position an ankle that is weak due to spasticity or foot drop, and in some cases, to relieve pain in the foot of the patient [13,14]. Initially, a rigid AFO was developed to assist with dorsiflexion, thereby removing unnecessary restrictions on the plantar flexion direction.…”
