Effectiveness of Chlorhexidine in Prevention of Umbilical Sepsis: A Hospital Based Study

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Umbilical sepsis is an important cause of neonatal morbidity and mortality. Severe omphalitis necessitates the administration of parenteral antibiotics with a consequent prolongation of hospital stay.
