Effectiveness of Care Farming on Veterans' Life Satisfaction, Optimism, and Perceived Loneliness

Abstract: Military veterans are increasingly using care farms to heal their psychological wounds and reconnect socially. The authors examined the effectiveness of care farming using a smartphone data collection app to determine its effect on veterans' life satisfaction, optimism, and perceived loneliness. Findings support care farming as a treatment for veterans.
