Abstract: Levonorgestrel-containing intrauterine system Mirena refers to the first-line therapy of heavy menstrual bleeding (OMC) according to the recommendations of different countries. The efficacy, acceptability, and quality of life of women using Mirena are similar to those in the surgical treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, including endometrial ablation and hysterectomy.
