Abstract:Children aged between 10 and 19 years constitute 22.8% of the population (243 million) approximately in India.One in 10 students (10.0%) had
ever used tobacco in any form. Proportion of students currently using any tobacco product was 4.5% (boys: 5.5%; girls: 3.1%). Tobacco use among
adolescent has reached to pandemic levels. Adolescents should be protected against initiation of any tobacco products. They can be taught refusal
