Effectiveness of a modern antiparasitic agent for deworming in domestic animals

Abstract: Parasitic diseases continue to account for a significant proportion of overall morbidity in many parts of the world despite improved living conditions and increased awareness of health issues. The creation of innovative veterinary antiparasitic agents is a promising area of modern veterinary pharmacy. The pathogens Dipylidium caninum, Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxocaris leonina were identified in the study of stray dogs (n=12). Eggs of Dipylidium caninum, Toxocara mystax, and Toxocaris leonina were … Show more

“…Likewise, companion animals and livestock represent 86% of deworming costs above swine and poultry [28]. The antiparasitics praziquantel and niclosamide are frequently used for treatment of pets (dogs and cats) [23] and benzimidazoles (albendazole) and macrocyclic lactones (ivermectin) for treatment of horses and cattle [27,28]. Other antiparasitics for animal use are shown in Table 1.…”

“…SSS production involves various stages, including smoking, semi‐smoking and partial boiling, each with variations based on recipe and SSS type (Pasichnyi et al ., 2022a). Smoking not only imparts aroma and taste but also extends the shelf life of SSS, with variations in smoking duration contributing to different flavour profiles (Paliy et al ., 2020; Pasichnyi et al ., 2022b; Rudiuk & Pasichnyi, 2023). The precise control of technological processes and adherence to specific time frames are crucial for ensuring the quality of SSS, especially when following traditional recipes (Alirezalu et al ., 2021).…”
