Abstract:Introduction: Streptococcus sanguinis is a pioneer bacteria in the formation of dental plaque that causes caries. Fenugreek (Trigonella-foenum-graecum L.) is a medicinal plant that has antibacterial properties because it contains alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, glycosides, and terpenoids. The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of fenugreek seed extract with concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% on bacterial growth of S. sanguinis.
