Effective structural modification of traditional fluorophores to obtain organic mechanofluorochromic molecules

Abstract: The review focuses on the influence of some important factors on the generation of new and/or high contrast mechanofluorochromic-active organic compounds by the structural modifications of traditional fluorophores.
