Effective group support: an innovative network in Lancashire

Abstract: Paediatric nurse managers in District General Hospitals often have no pertinent support network. Regular meetings between managers and educationalists can reduce the theory/practice divide. Clinical supervision can take place across Trust and educational boundaries in paediatrics. Benchmarking can improve practice and provide support networks.
