Effect the Composition Ratio of Cobalt Oxide on the Structural and Optical Properties of Tin Oxide

Abstract: Tin oxide thin films were deposited on glass substrate at (400 ºC) by using chemical spray pyrolysis technique and its composed with cobalt oxide in different ratio. The structural, morphologic and optical properties of  thin films are investigated by: (XRD) X-Ray Diffraction, (AFM) Atomic Force Microscopy, (UV-Vis )Ultraviolet – Visible Spectroscopy. XRD patterns indicate that the structure of tin oxide thin film is tetragonal. All prepared films were nano materials as stated by Scherrer equation. It might ha… Show more

“…The absorbance spectrum of the acceptor overlaps with the emission spectrum of the donor, resulting in the occurrence of FRET between the donor and acceptor dipoles. In photocatalytic degradation, when the absorbance spectra of dye and emission spectra of the catalyst overlap, FRET (Forster Resonance Energy Transfer) occurs between the catalyst and dye [53][54][55]. In the event that the emanation spectra of catalysts covers with the absorbance range of the dye, energy released by catalyst in the recombination process, transfer by nonradiatively to the dye (FRET).…”
