“…Quail is not only an agricultural bird but also is one of the ideal vertebrate models used to study a variety of investigations (10). More recently, in third countries, this species has been housed as an alternative source of animal protein (11,12). There is much study regarding the prehatching skeletal development of Galliformes, and many authors did research concerning quail such as (13)(14)(15).…”

“…The initial body weight, final body weight, and total feed intake/quail and food conversion ratio (FCR) were recorded weekly, and the foam material from the cloacal glands weight was recorded (17). Foam obtained by each group of birds was collected and its weight was immediately calculated using a digital analytical balance (18).…”

“…During previous years, different types of food additives were used in poultry rations, including probiotics, organic acids, and others, as (1) indicated that adding the probiotic and emulsifiers to quail diets at a rate of 0.5 mg/kg of feed led to an increase in the level of the FSH and LH, as indicated by (2) that adding organic acids to quail diet led to an elevated in the level of growth hormone. BHA is one of the additives used in poultry diets, but the references to study the physiological importance of BHA.…”
