Effect of zirconium dioxide on crystallization and melting behavior of flame sprayed polyamide 1010

Abstract: The crystallization and melting behavior of flame sprayed Polyamide 1010 (PA1010) containing zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) were investigated using differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). ZrO2 has a heterogenous nucleation effect on PA1010, leading to a moderate increase in the crystallization temperature and a decrease in the supercooling temperature. A modified Avrami theory could be successfully used to well describe the early stages of non‐isothermal crystallization of PA1010 and its composite coatings. A study… Show more

“…Both silica‐loaded samples exhibit a T c around 80°C, and it can be connected to a nucleating effect of this load over the sample . As for the zirconium‐loaded samples, the T c values were moved toward higher temperatures, due to the constrictions imposed by the nanometric load . However, as seen before, the samples loaded with zirconia tend to display a more uniform crystallization process, favoring the more stable α‐oriented crystals.…”

“…(1) the temperature parameters: k thermocouple type can directly measure surface temperatures ranging from 0 ℃ to 1300 ℃, of liquid steam and gas medium and solid in all kinds of production. The temperature conversion chip Max6675 receives voltage signals from K thermocouple type, and transfers temperature to embedded microcontroller processor S3C2440 to process, then we get the temperature of test object [4].…”

“…Fig.1 System structure diagram Data acquisition method description:(1) the temperature parameters: k thermocouple type can directly measure surface temperatures ranging from 0 ℃ to 1300 ℃, of liquid steam and gas medium and solid in all kinds of production. The temperature conversion chip Max6675 receives voltage signals from K thermocouple type, and transfers temperature to embedded microcontroller processor S3C2440 to process, then we get the temperature of test object[4]. (2) voltage parameters: maximum conversion rate of 10 A/D converter in S3C2440 embedded microcontroller processor is 500 KSPS, which can satisfy the data transfer time and the precision requirement, but what to notice is that the input analog voltage range is 0-3.3 V, so the voltage to be measured first should be isolated by mutual inductor, and converted by signal processing circuit to keep it in ADC's limits, and then after ADC be converted into digital quantity[5].…”
