“…Specifically, the contents of lysozyme, IgM, C3 and C4 of Glu‐Zn group were all significantly higher than those of the ZnSO 4 group. Similar immune stimulation result of Glu‐Zn diet was found rat (Elseweidy et al, 2017). Some report was found that Glu‐Zn attenuates biomarkers of inflammation (e.g., TNF‐α, and IL‐1β) and oxidative stress (Ansari et al, 2019).…”

“…After, the biodistribution studies in rats demonstrated that Glu‐Zn has the equivalent bioavailable to Zn‐enriched yeast, but Glu‐Zn is absorbed faster than the Zn yeast (Zhang et al, 2018). Moreover, dietary administration of Glu‐Zn was found to improve the rats glycemic and inflammatory states (Elseweidy et al, 2017). Furthermore, Glu‐Zn also contributes to stimulate the antioxidant defences and alleviate adverse effects of heat stress on broiler chickens (Aluwong et al, 2017).…”

“…Although this is the first report that zinc supplementation could reverse the impairment of learning and memory abilities abilities of FGR rats, the molecular mechanism was various. For example, zinc involves in regulating exchange of oxygen and nutrients [ 1 ], inflammatory reaction [ 21 ], vascular smooth muscle cells response [ 22 ], etc . Hence, it is necessary to further explore the potential mechanism of zinc on learning and memory abilities abilities of FGR rats.…”

“…Recently, in vivo studies by Elseweidy et al showed that Salvia officinalis oil intake considerably lowered hyperglycemia and possessed antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory activities. In these studies, intraperitoneal administration of sage oil (0.042 mg/kg body weight daily) in zinc-deficient diabetic rats for 8 weeks decreased serum glucose to 94.17 mg/dL, while the serum glucose level of the zinc-deficient control group was 547 mg/dL [ 179 ]. A toxicological study of sage oil reported that more than 0.5 g/kg can lead to convulsion due to its action on the nervous system [ 180 ].…”
