“…In this work, we have interested in the effect of the YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7−x (YBCO) complex compound thin films, coated by DC magnetron sputtering system, on the morphological, orientational, thermotropical and optical properties of smectic liquid crystals. The effect of these thin films on the physical properties of thermotropic and lyotropic nematic mesophases have earlier been investigated by us [46,47]. The investigations have shown that, these films have sufficient orientational effect on the investigated nematics.…”
