Abstract:Effect of Wood Charcoal Powder (WCP) on rate of microbial production of Lactic Acid (LA) in ground dehulled and an undehulled Vigna unguiculata (cowpea) paste was studied. The pastes were analysed for proximate compositions, energy values, tannin contents and microbial loads.
