Effect of Video Assisted Teaching Program on Premenopausal Women Knowledge and Practice regarding Pelvic Floor Muscle Exercises

Abstract: Background: Urinary incontinence, loss of bladder control, is a common problem that may have a profound impact on quality of life. Women in their premenopausal period may find pelvic muscles are simply weaker than they were before. Pelvic floor muscle exercise education is a well acceptable therapy for urinary incontinence. The aim was to evaluate the effect of a video-assisted teaching program on premenopausal women's knowledge and practice regarding pelvic floor muscle exercises.
