This study focuses on gold and silver jewelry import to Slovakia between the years 2010–2022 for hallmarking according to the country of origin. The aim of the research was to analyze and predict the import of gold and silver jewelry to Slovakia using statistical methods, namely the correlation coefficient and time series analysis. Using the correlation coefficient, we determined the relationship or degree of relation between selected countries of origin based on the amount of gold and silver jewelry (in kg) imported to Slovakia for hallmarking. We obtained an estimate of the future development trend of gold and silver imports into the domestic market from abroad using the time series method, particularly regression analysis and Holt-Winterson methods. It was found that the import of gold jewelry to Slovakia from the studied countries has an upward trend and, conversely, the import of silver jewelry has a downward trend.

As an important part of urban ecosystems, trees can effectively alleviate the urban heat island effect. Tree canopies cool and humidify through shading and evapotranspiration, regulating the urban thermal environment. So far, many studies have analyzed the heat mitigation effect of urban green spaces; however, there are relatively few studies on the cooling effect of tree canopies. Specifically, relevant research focusing on different spatial scales has not been explored. Therefore, this review systematically summarizes the research on the benefits of tree canopy cooling carried out in recent years, analyzes the research content, and evaluates the indicators and key influencing factors of the benefits of tree canopy cooling from four different spatial scales: urban, block, community, and individual. It was found that canopy factors, other vegetation factors, and environmental factors jointly affect the benefits of canopy cooling. This research focuses on the benefits of canopy cooling at different spatial scales. The smaller the research scale, the more discussion and attention will be paid to vegetation factors. This paper puts forward major directions for future research and development, providing optimization strategies for urban planning or plant design at different scales in the context of climate change.

Cabai merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang banyak dibutuhkan konsumen di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelimpahan dan keragaman serangga pengunjung pada cabai (Capsicum frutescens L.). Metode yang digunakan dalam pengamatan serangga ialah scan sampling. Penangkapan serangga dilakukan dengan 2 metode yaitu metode jaring ayun (sweep net method) dan metode perangkap kuning (yellow trap). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa total kelimpahan serangga pengunjung pada bunga tanaman cabai sebanyak 1.362 individu yang terdiri atas 14 genus dengan 11 famili dari 7 Ordo yaitu Hymenoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, Orthoptera, Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, dan Odonata. Indeks keanekaragaman (=H') tertinggi diperoleh pada pagi hari pukul 06.30-09.30 Wita (H’= 2,01) dan terendah pada siang hari pukul 10.30-13.30 Wita (H’= 1,72), dikategorikan sedang/medium karena memiliki nilai indeks 1<H’<3 dengan nilai 1,62-2,05. Indeks dominansi (=C) serangga pengunjung bunga cabai dikategorikan rendah (C = 0,177-0,247), yaitu indeks dominansi mendekati 0 (0-0,5) berarti tidak ada jenis yang mendominasi.
