“…Kaynak metali mikroyapısının soğuma rejimine bağlı olarak ostenit matris içerisinde karıncalanma (vermicular), çatısal (skeletal), ve çıta (lath) tipi morfolojili delta ferrit fazlarından oluşur [10, 18,19,23]. Ostenit matris içerisinde %3-10 delta ferrit fazı bu çeliklerin katılaşma çatlamasına karşı direncini arttırır.…”

“…Some investigators have suggested [25,26,27] that while delta-ferrite increases during the welding process, many Crdepleted zones are probably formed because of microsegregation of Cr at the ferrite-austenite interphase boundaries and the interdendritics of ferrite are attacked by austennite due to the less stable passivity, leading to an increase of pitting corrosion susceptibility. However, in this study, as the low heat input and high cooling rate of the FCAW process did not offer sufficient time for chromium diffusion to microsegregate on the boundaries, a large quantity of chromium content may have still remained in the dendrite cores.…”

“…Therefore they are used in conditions that require high reliability and durability of the material. The protective ability is affected by metal microstructure, chemical composition (especially by the elements such as Cr, Mo, Ti, N) and also significantly by the surface treatment (Dadfar et al [3], Liptáková [5], Perren et al [7], Sedriks et al [9], SzklarskaSmialowska [10]). Mechanical surface treatments are commonly used in industries and believed to have better mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.…”
