Effect of thermal radiation on an unsteady MHD flow over an impulse vertical infinite plate with variant temperature in existence of Hall current

Abstract: In this paper, the effects of thermal radiation on unsteady MHD flow viscous incompressible electrically conducting fluid past an impulsively started oscillating vertical plate with variable temperature and constant mass diffusion in the presence of Hall current have been presented. The dimensionless governing partial differential equations of the flow have been solved numerically by using the Galerkin finite element method. The

“…Agarwalla and Ahmed 7 studied MHD mass transfer flow past an inclined plate embedded in a porous medium in presence of thermal radiation and heat source. The effect of thermal radiation on the MHD flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past an impulsively started oscillating plate has been investigated by Appidi et al 8 The effect of energy flux generated due to concentration gradient, on the flow characteristics is called the Dufour effect or diffusion-thermo effect. The diffusion-thermo effect was initiated by a Swiss physicist L. Dufour in 1873 and thereafter this effect is termed as the Dufour effect.…”

“…Khalili et al 25 examined the impact of radiation and chemical reaction on the flow of MHD through an exponential stretched sheet incorporating heat sink. Appidi et al 26 have inspected the impact of thermal radiation on the incompressible, viscous, electrically conducting unsteady MHD flow through an upright plate that is oscillating suddenly. Ahmed et al 27 and Ahmed 28 investigated the consequences of heat sink and chemical reaction on MHD flow.…”
