“…19,26 Besides, three sharp diffraction peaks along the (111), (200), and (220) planes at 38.18, 44.4, and 64.58 correspond to gold (JCPDS 04-0784). 27,28 This result clearly reveals the efficient piezo-photocatalytic reduction of DR-MoS 2 -4 NFs to Au(I) and the formation of gold.…”

“…XRD is employed to further investigate the crystal structure of DR-MoS 2 -4 NFs after gold reduction, and the result is shown in Figure b. Three diffraction peaks are detected at 13.87, 33.14, and 58.59°, which can be assigned to 2H-MoS 2 (JCPDS 73-1508). , Besides, three sharp diffraction peaks along the (111), (200), and (220) planes at 38.18, 44.4, and 64.58 correspond to gold (JCPDS 04-0784). , This result clearly reveals the efficient piezo-photocatalytic reduction of DR-MoS 2 -4 NFs to Au(I) and the formation of gold.…”

“…In other words, an instant increase in the intensity is attributed to the formation of stable colloidal aggregates, which in turn enhances the SPR and produces higher absorption intensity. The greater the number of “stable colloidal particles”, the greater is the SPR and the higher is the intensity. , Therefore, by increasing the spacer length, stable colloidal complex formation between SDS stabilized and gemini surfactants of longer spacer increases, and hence intensity passes through a wide maximum in the form of a sine curve. This is further supplemented by the overall decrease in the size of the NP–NP complex in the same order (Figure c).…”

“…Recent experiments have demonstrated the formation of gold NPs in glass with a red-shifted LSPR band in different glass systems [12][13][14]. Laser irradiation of glass also marking a significant leap forward in the domain of the formation of NPs with tunable LSPR band [15][16][17]. These studies collectively underline the significant potential of gold NPs in glass matrices for enhancing and manipulating LSPR for various technological applications.…”
