Effect of Spacing on Growth, Yield and Chemical Composition of Stevia Plants (Stevia rebaudiana Bert.)

Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of plant spacing on the growth, yield and chemical composition of stevia grown in Poland. The variable factor was spacings of 50 cm × 30 cm, 45 cm × 25 cm and 30 cm × 30 cm. Seedlings were planted during the first ten days of June, and the plant material was harvested between the 10th and 20th of September.
