Increasing the yield of spring barley on light chestnut soils of the Volgograd region is possible through the use of microbiological fertilizers that activate the processes of plant growth and development. The influence of the methods of basic tillage and the application of mineral and bacterial fertilizers “Azotovit” and “Phosphatovit” on the content of nitrogen in the soil was studied. The degree of decomposition of the linen cloths was the maximum for deep flat-cutting processing. According to the binary interaction, the best results were obtained on the variant with deep flat-cutting processing with double application of bacterial fertilizers. The introduction of bacterial fertilizers sharply increases the content of azotobacter, and especially when they are applied twice. The lowest toxicity of the soil in barley crops compared to the control was noted on the variant with deep flat-cutting treatment, and the maximum on the variant of dump treatment. The analysis of data on the structure of the crop also indicates the advantage of the variant of deep flat-cutting tillage with double application of microbiological fertilizers. The most cost-effective variants were with double application of bacterial fertilizers on the background of deep flat-cutting tillage.

Abstract. The purpose. To study the effectiveness of a complex multicomponent organomineral fertilizer of prolonged action based on local man-made waste from the metallurgical industry and poultry farming and extracted sources of mineral nutrition for plants. Methods. The article presents data on the study of the effect of a new organomineral fertilizer on the growth, development and yield of spring barley. Phenological and biometric observations were carried out, yields were taken into account, and quality indicators of grain were determined: weight of 1000 seeds, nature and protein content. Results. It has been established that the use of an innovative mixed multicomponent organomineral fertilizer improves the growth and development of barley plants. So at doses of 60 and 90 kg of AD per 1 ha of nitrogen and phosphorus, the length of the plant stem increased to 6.78–6.84 cm, the number of grains per ear increased from 0.39 to 1.08 pcs. and their weight increased by 0.13–0.15 ha. The highest yield was obtained with NP (60) – 4.91 t/ha, which is significantly higher than the control variant. When applying the fertilizer, the grain quality indicators improved: the weight of 1000 seeds, the nature of the grain and the protein content in the grain. It is noted that the use of a new organomineral fertilizer at a dose of NP (60) increases the productivity and quality of products and is optimal for the cultivation of barley in the Middle Urals. Scientific novelty. For the first time in the Middle Urals, a new innovative product was created and tested – a combined, mixed multicomponent fertilizer for growing crops, application for a patent of the Russian Federation No. of the task number 122032200206-4.

Relevance. New fertilizers Azotovite and Phosphatovite do not pollute the soil and provide significant savings when applying in combination with traditional fertilizers. Studies on the use of Azotovite and Phosphatovite in the conditions of the Novgorod region on sod-podzolic soil in improved fodder crop rotations have not yetbeen conducted, therefore research on the influence of Azotovite and Phosphatovite together with mineral fertilizers in improved crop rotations is relevant.Methods. The results of studies of two-factor field experiment, carried out in 2019–2021 on sod-podzolic soil in the conditions of the Novgorod region, are presented to study the influence on the yield and nutritional value of forage cropsof three methods of using Azotovite (A) and Phosphatovite (P) — factor H— and mineral fertilizers in full dosagesfor a programmed yield (background 1) andin dosages, reduced by 50% (background 2) (factor B) in the feed crop rotation link: spring rapeseed for siderate; winter rye and spring barley for grain. The use of crop-root residues, siderates and grain straw serves as a basis for increasing soil fertility.Results. It was established that the introduction of a complete mineral fertilizer based on the planned harvest, the double use of Azotovite and Phosphatovite in technological operations— etching of seed material (by 2 l/t of each preparation) and non-root spraying of plants in the period up to 30 cm (by 1 l/ha of each preparation) —provided high productivity of siderate (38.2 t/ha),grain of winter rye (7.1 t/ha) and spring barley (4.1 t/ha); digestible proteinin amount 0.65 and 0.34 t/ha was obtained, low energy intensity of grain production (less than 3.0 GJ/t) is combined with high energy efficiency of production — 5.8 units. The use of siderate and grain straw as organic fertilizers allowed to increase soil fertility on average per crop rotation link for all variants of the experiment by more than 47 GJ/ha.
