Educators play the most crucial role in the education system. They are the cornerstone on which the stability and growth of the education system, including technical and vocational education. In the current situation, the teaching-learning process shall be decided based on the requirements of the learner at every level. With fast-changing technology and education norm, educators faced many challenges and took various way in upgrading and reskilling themselves towards providing practical teaching session. Therefore, heutagogical approaches are appropriate for improving skill and knowledge among them. This study is aimed to determine the efforts level of educator in 13 different Vocational colleges in Johor. A total of 141 educators participated in the survey questionnaire that measures their efforts toward six heutagogical elements in teaching and learning. The finding shows that majority ofthe educators shows the high level of efforts toward improving their skills and knowledge. The educator’s perception on the implementation of heutagogy in teaching and learning process benefit tremendously in designing practical and sustainable professional development course for educators. Also contributes to heutagogy model in technical and vocational education settings.

Background Study: English education has been promoted in Taiwan for many years.Recently, content and language integrated learning (CLIL) has received attention as an effective way to integrate English into real-life contexts. With advances in technology, digital storytelling is suitable for students to develop multiple skills such as narrating real-life stories and recording them in English.Objectives: The present study developed a cooperative learning model in a CLIL context to enhance elementary school students' digital storytelling, English speaking proficiency performance, and financial knowledge. Methods:The participants were 43 sixth-grade students from two classes: the experimental group (n = 26) and the control group (n = 17). To investigate whether the digital storytelling results produced by the experimental group under the cooperative learning approach differed from the digital storytelling results produced individually by the control group, an experimental design was implemented throughout the 9-week course. All the participants took financial knowledge and English-speaking proficiency pre-tests and then received financial knowledge classes and digital storytelling instruction to help them effectively design digital storytelling videos, which incorporated the concepts of financial knowledge and English-speaking skills. Results and Conclusions:The results showed that the experimental group outperformed the control group in the overall digital storytelling performance, English speaking proficiency, and financial knowledge.

Social and emotional learning (SEL) has gradually implemented in Chinese schools and is considered as an effective way to improve students' performance. This research aimed to study the influence of SEL on students' bullying behavior, and the role that social and emotional competence (SEC) and peer relationship play in SEL and students' bullying. The participants were 2049 students in primary and secondary schools in Beijing, China. SEM was used to examine the mediating role of SEC and peer relationship. The study found that SEL can significantly predict students' bullying behavior. In addition, SEC and peer relationship sequentially mediate the relationship between SEL and students' bullying behavior.
