Similar results were also reported for M. officinalis (Kostopoulou et al, 2015) and Brassica oleracea leaves (Kopsell et al, 2000), suggesting a possible involvement of this element in the tolerance mechanism of Se (Kostopoulou et al, 2015). On the contrary, Hawrylak-Novak (2008) reported that at low Se concentration in the nutrient solution, K content in the aerial parts of maize plants increased, while at high Se concentration the opposite effect was found.…”
