Abstract: Teacher motivation has been directly linked with teachers’ job performance (Inayatullah, & Jehangi, 2012; Nyakongo, 2015), classroom effectiveness (Carson & Chase, 2009) and students’ academic outcomes (Guajardo, 2011).
