“…In four-and five-component microemulsions (water, oil, surfactant, cosurfactant, electrolyte), ultrasonic absorbance measurements in the range 3-100 MHz show relaxations that have also been attributed to exchange processes (Hirsch et al, 1984;Lange et al, 1980). Middle phase (bicontinuous) microemulsions have relaxation frequencies of order 10 MHz, which is significantly faster than that responsible for the observed shear thinning in the present work.…”
