In an another study, Howitz et al (2003) showed that the photoprotective effect of resveratrol from radiation induced apoptosis in HEK 293 cells was reversed at concentrations greater than 50 (M. Caddeo et al (2008) also showed that at low concentration, resveratrol increased the number of cells without any evidence of toxicity. In contrast, cells treated with higher concentration of resveratrol showed loss of membrane integrity due to polymerized actin degradation and impaired functional status of cell (Caddeo et al 2008).…”
