Effect of Reinforcement Context on Rate-Concentration Functions for Monkeys

Abstract: Bar-press rates of monkeys for different concentrations of sucrose solution used as the reinforcer were not influenced by changes in reinforcement context in the form of the order of presentation of the concentrations and the number of concentrations. After some initial changes unrelated to reinforcement context, the form and level of the rate-concentration function remained practically constant over the course of a considerable number of test sessions.
