Effect of preliminary heat treatment parameters of spring steel on properties of area deposited by T-590 electrode

Abstract: Thermal hardening of steel 65G from different temperatures leads to a change in the properties of the heat-affected zone, while the hardness of the metal deposited with the T-590 electrode remains constant. The presence of a fusion zone provides a relatively high adhesion of the deposited metal to the base metal and reduces the likelihood of near-weld cracks.
