Effect of pre-admission immunosuppressive therapy and regional transfer versus metropolitan hospital presentation on colectomy rates in acute severe ulcerative colitis

Abstract: Ulcerative colitis is a chronic idiopathic inflammatory disorder of the colon with a relapsing remitting course.
