“…The times required to change the resistance by 90% after injecting or exhausting the target gas were used to define the response and recovery time. Gas-sensing properties were analyzed by injecting saturated acetone vapor into the test chamber or exhausting acetone from the chamber as per our previous report [35]. When acetone gas was injected, the gas was stirred evenly by the fans.…”

“…It can be seen that no significant change can be detected in the four curves. The inherent antihumidity characteristic of Co 3 O 4 [39] and the abundant defect oxygen in In@Co 3 O 4 samples caused by In doping lead to the good anti-humidity performance. [40] As the water molecules would mainly be adsorbed at the defect sites of materials, [41] the less water vapor would compete with xylene gas.…”

“…Similarly, Fan et al [72] doped Co 3 O 4 with Pr using an electrospray for acetone detection. After Pr doping, the Pr-Co 3 O 4 sensors showed remarkable humidity independence with unchanged response to 20 ppm acetone at 300 • C at a wide humidity range of 30-90% RH.…”
