Considering that the post-storage lter (bedside) has been the oldest and most widely used technology for decades, the PICO structure presented in the review protocol 22 was changed with regard to the intervention and the comparator by consensus among the authors of this review. Thus, the prestorage lter (bench or inline) was considered for intervention, and the post-storage lter (bedside) was considered for the comparator.…”
