Abstract:most common, is also known as Arabian Jasmine. The term jasmine is derived from an Arabic word "Jessamine" and in Persian language it is called as "Yasmin" or "Yasmyn" which means fragrance (Bailey, 1947). Jasmine oils are used for manufacture of cosmetics, soaps, confectionary perfumes, perfumed tobacco, syrups, aerated water, ointments, disinfectants and detergents.
