Effect of Polyphenylene Sulphide Particles and Films on the Properties of Polyphenylene Sulphide Composites

Abstract: Glass fibre-reinforced polyphenylene sulphide composites were prepared by hot-pressing glass fibre fabrics and polyphenylene sulphide resins. The effects of different polyphenylene sulphide resin forms on the properties of the composites were investigated using scanning electron microscopy, dynamic mechanical analyser, pendulum impact tester and universal testing machine.
