Aktywność fizyczna jest niezbędnym elementem zdrowego stylu życia, decydującym o sprawności fizycznej człowieka, co niewątpliwie determinuje wysoką jakość życia i dobre samopoczucie. Regularny wysiłek fizyczny ma kluczowe znaczenie w profilaktyce chorób związanych z zaburzeniami funkcji kognitywnych i pomaga zachować tzw. dobrostan psychiczny.
