“…The cold workability parameters under tri-axial stress state condition of powder metallurgy composite preforms, namely, the true axial stress (r z ), the true axial strain (e z ), the hoop strain (e h ), Poisson's ratio (a), relative density (R) and axial stress (r z ), the true hoop stress (r h ), true hydrostatic stress (r m ), true effective stress (r eff ), the formability stress index (b r ) and true effective strain (e eff ) are elaborately explained from previous works [33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40][51][52][53][54].…”

“…They investigated that the effect of relative density on the forming limit of P/M compacts in upsetting. The cold workability and the strain hardening behavior of porous P/M composites under uniaxial, plane and triaxial conditions have been elaborately analyzed and discussed in the previous works by Narayanasamy et al [34][35][36][37][38][39][40]. Their results have shown that the workability behavior of metals/alloys/composites of P/M components depends on the relative density, the aspect ratio, the preform geometry, the particle size and the percentage of reinforcement for the composites, the die geometry, the lubricants, and the compacting load.…”

“…They also reported that, the workability of a material purely depends on the amount of ductile fracture presented in the material 24 . The workability behavior for various ferrous and non-ferrous alloys and composites (Al-3.5%Al 2 [25][26][27][28][29][30] . In the present study, Al matrix composites with 2.5 weight percentage of TiO 2 and 2 & 4 weight percentage of graphite was synthesized through powder metallurgy route.…”
