Effect of Orogastric Acetazolamide on Optic Nerve Sheath Diameter in Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomies: A Randomized, Double-Blind Trial

Abstract: IntroductionLaparoscopic Live Donor Nephrectomy(LLDN) is becoming an increasingly frequent procedure. The rise in intracranial pressure(ICP) during LLDN has not been measured yet. ICP can be evaluated by measuring ultrasonographic optic nerve sheath diameter(ONSD). Acetazolamide has been found to provide effective analgesia following LLDN.
