“…14 Pregabalin has been used in preemptive analgesia for the treatment of laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic hysterectomy, arthroscopic Bankart repair, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, lumbar fusion surgery, total knee arthroplasty, septoplasty, laparoscopic prostatectomy, radical neck dissection surgery, lower limb orthopedic surgery, molar extraction and endoscopic thyroidectomy. 9,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24, 25,26 gabapentinoids was able to reduce postoperative pain, total morphine consumption, and morphine-related complications following arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Further studies should determine the optimal dose and whether pregabalin is superior to gabapentin in controlling acute pain after shoulder surgery.…”
