Effect of nutrient management on summer sesame (Sesamum indicum L.)

Abstract:A field experiment was carried out during the summer of 2022 at Navsari, Gujarat to study the effect of nutrient management on growth parameters, yield attributes, yield and quality parameters of sesame. The results revealed that application of 75% RDF+ Castor Cake (1 t/ha) recorded significantly higher plant height at harvest (105.51 cm), number of capsules/ plant (4.63), capsule length (4.10 cm), seed yield (1185.13 kg/ha), stalk yield (1771.35 kg/ha) and oil content (50.6 %).
