Effect of non-oral estrogen on risk markers for metabolic syndrome in early surgically menopausal women

Abstract

Transdermal estrogen treatment has a protective effect against the risk factors of metabolic syndrome (homocysteine, ADMA, HDL cholesterol) in surgically menopausal patients who have undergone surgery in the early premenopausal period.

Deficiency of sex hormones does not affect 17-ß-estradiol-induced coronary vasodilation in the isolated rat heart

Επίδραση Της Τιμπολόνης Στα Επίπεδα Πρώιμων Δεικτών Ενδοθηλιοπάθειας Σε Υγιείς Μετεμμηνοπαυσιακές Γυναίκες

Μετά από έξι μήνες θεραπείας, οι γυναίκες που είχαν λάβει 17βοιστραδιόλη με χορήγηση από του στόματος, δεν εμφάνισαν σημαντική μείωση των συγκεντρώσεων της ADMA.…”
