Effect of Multidirectional Isothermal Forging on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties in Ti-6Al-4V Alloy

Abstract: In the present work, the microstructure and mechanical properties of Ti-6Al-4V alloy during multidirectional isothermal forging (MDIF) were systematically investigated. The evolution of the microstructure and texture of Ti-6Al-4V alloy during MDIF was studied using TEM and electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD).
