Effect of Modifier Agents on Particle Size and Surface Functional Groups of Calcined Eggshell: Test in Adsorption of Remazol Yellow

Abstract: Calcined eggshell (CES) was modified with Pluronic 123 (P123), Pluronic 127 (F127) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) agents and used in adsorption of Remazol Yellow. The adsorbents were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDX).
