Effect of Mn2+ Substitution on Structural and Magnetic Properties of Co-Zn Ferrite

Abstract: Co0.8-x Mnx Zn0.2 Fe2O4 (x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3) was prepared using the coprecipitation method. We investigated the effect of the Mn+2 substitution on the structural and magnetic properties. X-ray analysis revealed formation of single phase spinel cubic ferrite nanoparticles unaccompanied by secondary phases while the Morphology studies done using scanning electron microscopy show spherical shaped nanoparticles which are agglomerated.
