Effect of magnetoelastic interactions on the formation of spiral magnetic structures in frustrated non-Heisenberg magnets

Abstract: The spectra of coupled magnetoelastic waves in highly anisotropic non-Heisenberg frustrated magnets with S = 1 are obtained in the mean field approximation. An analysis of the elementary excitation spectra shows that, besides uniform phases (ferromagnetic and quadrupole), spatially-modulated magnetic structures such as magnetic spirals can develop in these systems.
