In this work, we investigated the influence of light stress on Crotalaria spectabilis Roth (Fabaceae) and on its main herbivore, the moth Utetheisa ornatrix (L., 1758) (Erebidae: Arctiinae). Specifically, we verified whether plants stressed by shading differ from non-stressed plants in terms of productivity, morphological characteristics and water percentage.
