“…The antagonist was initially tested in the adult male bonnet monkeys (6-7 years of age weighing 7-8 kg) at four concentrations for agonistic activity using the procedure described for checking the agonists. Following this, the antagonist was checked by testing its ability to block nocturnal surge of testosterone as described earlier (Jagannadha Rao et al, 1985).
